This course will help you understand how exploitation can happen, give you the tools to understand the signs it could be happening and help you work with those at risk. The outcomes for this course are: -To understand the definition of adult exploitation -To know about the ways in which adults can be exploited -To understand some of the legislation that is in place to support us with exploitation -To know, understand and be able to recognise some of the vulnerabilities, warning signs and risk factors that could indicate exploitation -To understand some of the barriers people have in reporting their abuse -To begin to understand why consent is important and how it is established -To know what to do if you are worried -To know how to respond to allegations -To begin to understand about modern slavery and trafficking and its relationship with exploitation
